Aga Khan Palace in Pune



Aga Khan Palace is situated on Pune Nagar highway near Bund garden. It is now known as Gandhi national memorial. It was built in 1892 by 3rd Aga Khan , Sultan Mohammad Shah Aga khan. It served as a source of employment to the famine struck villagers in the nearby area. It took about five years to complete the place of this work and around 1000 people were employed here at that time. The total cost incurred was about 12 Lakhs. The palace covers of about 19 acres of area out of which 7 acres is built up. This palace has Italian arches architecture and superb corridors.

Qutub Minar in New Delhi



Qutub Minar is the world’s tallest red sandstone tower and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of the historical place in India which is located at 15 km in south direction from New Delhi. It is one of the tallest minaret in India and It is made from red sandstone and marbles and it’s height is 73 m.

Machu Picchu in Cusco Region


Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Inca, is one of the most important archaeological sites in South America and the most visited tourist attraction in Peru. Despite being located close to the Inca capitol of Cusco the site was never discovered by the Spanish during their conquest, consequently it was not destroyed and  remained relatively intact. Machu Picchu (meaning 'Old Peak' in the Quechua language) refers to the mountain that overlooks the city, its Inca name is not known.

The Tomb of Mohammad Mommin and Haji Jamal in Nakodar, jalandhar

 Headquarters of the Tehsil/Sub Division of the same name Nakodar, falls on the Jalandhar City-Nakodar line and Lohian Khas Nakodar Ludhiana line of the Northern Railways. It is a railway junction ,32 kms from Jalandhar City,47 kms from Ludhiana and 32 kms from Lohian Khas . It is also connected directly by road with Jalandhar(24 kms), Phillaur(34 Kms), Sultanpur(40Kms) and Kapurthala (35 kms). A road also connects Nakodar with Jagraon through a ferry on the River Satluj. There are a Khadi Mandal, a Civil Hospital, a Veterinary Hospital, three Sub-post offices and a combined Post & Telegraph office, a Telephone Exchange, a Police Station and a P.W.D. Rest House. It is well known for the manufacture of durries and khadi goods.

Sea Life Aquarium in London



The SEA LIFE London Aquarium is home to one of Europe’s largest collections of global marine life and the jewel in the crown of the 28 SEA LIFE attractions in the UK and Europe. Situated in the heart of London, the experience takes visitors on an immersive and interactive journey along the Great Oceanic Conveyor. Located on the ground floor of County Hall on the Southern bank of the River Thames in central London near the London Eye, the Sea Life Aquarium is the largest of its kind in Europe. It opened in March 1997 as the London Aquarium and hosts about one million visitors each year. It is the largest aquarium in London and in the United Kingdom.

Big Ben or Clock Tower in London




The clock inside the tower was the world's largest when it was installed in the middle of the 19th century. The name Big Ben actually refers to the clock's hour bell, the largest of the clock's five bells. The other four are used as quarter bells.

Agra Fort in Agra



The Agra Fort, one of the widely recognized architectural marvels of the Mughal period has its origin in the Badalgarh Fort.

The fort was besieged by Mahmud of Ghazni and was lost in times and it was only recognized after it was taken over by the Chauhan Rajputs. The earlier fort of Badalgarh was only altered by Akbar to suit his requirements is based on various assertions of historians and archeologists. The fort, as it stands today, was captured by Akbar is also clear from his own inscription.

Itmad Ud Daulah's Tomb in Agra



The Itmad-Ud-Daulah tomb is a beautifully ornamented structure built by Jahangir's Begam Noor Jahan as a memorial of her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg in the city of Agra. The tomb has a pietra dura inlay and lattice work in the marble screens. Before Taj Mahal was built, this was the most famous structure in the Agra city. The tomb built in the year 1628, is situated to the North of Agra fort in the bank of the river Yamuna. The Itmad-Ud -Daulah tomb is sometimes referred as baby Taj.

Sikandra Complex (Akbar's Tomb) in Agra



Sikandra Complex containing Akbar’s tomb is really an architectural marvel in Agra. The Great Mughal emperor began the construction of this complex in 1605, embedding various architectural styles. Jehangir, Akbar’s son, completed the Sikandra Complex after Akbar’s death. This majestic and imposing tomb is located in the scenic surroundings of a gorgeous garden. Akbar’s tomb is a perfect structure constructed using red sandstones and glossy white marbles.

Dayalbagh in Agra



Located 15 Km from Agra, Dayalbagh is a unique pilgrimage and tourist site in India. The memorial of Shiv Dayal Sahib the founder of the Radhasoami Satsang movement, who started this religious organization in 1861, is located in Dayalbagh, Agra. The Radhasoami movement combines elements from Hinduism, Christianity, Sikhism and Buddhism. You can see the Radhasoami memorial in Dayalbagh Agra, on tours to Agra with Agra Hub.

Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne



The Shrine of Remembrance, located in Kings Domain on St Kilda Road, Melbourne, Australia was built as a memorial to the men and women of Victoria who served in World War I and is now a memorial to all Australians who have served in war. It is a site of annual observances of ANZAC Day (25 April) and Remembrance Day (11 November) and is one of the largest war memorials in Australia.

Immigration Museum in Melbourne



Almost every Australian has immigrated from another continent and country and if you're curious about the way people migrated in those days and the things they had to do, then you have to visit the immigration museum. There are 3 levels. The ground floor has a mini library where you can get more information on family tree etc, there's a tribute garden and a theatrette.

Scienceworks in Melbourne



Scienceworks is a science museum in Melbourne. It is a venue of Museum Victoria which administers the cultural and scientific collections of the State of Victoria. It is located in the suburb of Spotswood.
Opened in March 1992, Scienceworks is housed in a purpose-built building "styled along industrial lines" near the historic Spotswood Pumping Station, constructed in 1897, whose steam engines form an associated exhibit.

Clock Tower in Lucknow



  It might interest you to know that the 67-meter tall tower is the highest clock tower in the nation . Also, the principal wheel of the clock is one and a half inches thick and has a diameter of 2 ft, which makes it larger than  the ultra – famous Westminister Clock . The tower though called ‘Satkhanda’ has only four storeys  because its construction was halted when its erector Nawab Muhammad Ali Shah passed away in 1840.

The Moti Mahal is also referred to as “Palace of Pearls,” and is world renowned with the title of being one of the most beautiful monuments in all of India. This highly appraised status is most definitely well deserved.
